Location
The comfortable 3-star Hotel Lynx Kumbakonam includes air-conditioned rooms approximately a 10-minute drive from Uppiliappan Temple. This Kumbakonam hotel offers an Indian restaurant and features quiet location with a such place of power and worship as the elevated Nataraja shrine "Nageshwara Temple" only 1.6 km away.
The hotel is located nearly a 15-minute ride from the late-Chola Airavatesvara Shiva Temple and about 25 minutes on foot from the kumbeshwara Adi Kumbeswarar Temple. The Lynx is 2 km away from the centre of Kumbakonam.
Each of the 15 rooms is equipped with air conditioning as well as a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. There are air-conditioned bedrooms and private bathrooms with a separate toilet and a shower provided.
The restaurant offers vegetarian dishes using the finest ingredients. Hotel Lynx is a few steps from Sara Regency's Multi-Cuisine Restaurant restaurant with its Chinese dishes.
Review by hotel critic
Hotel Atlantis in Kumbakonam is a gem. The rooms are cozy with all the necessary amenities, including a flat-screen TV and a safety deposit box. The private bathroom with a shower and slippers was a nice touch. The location is perfect, close to the important temples in town. The staff, especially Mr Gulam, were incredibly helpful and made our stay comfortable. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip. Thank you, Hotel Atlantis, for a memorable stay!
